Here is a rare picture showing a significant section of Patricia Bancroft’s 1995/1996 mural which believed to still remain in JJ’s former office at Farrer’s Place. This was the very room where the first original song collaboration betwixt Croydon songwriters Patricia & John “Snake in the grass”, which was conceived and originally ‘laid down’ (with kind assistance on guitar from the late Chris Scriven and on saxophone from Cyke Bancroft) on a lil ole Amstrad 2000 four track recording machine. This early song from the Starsongs Duo, although not featured currently on the the Starsongs website, did in fact play a significant role in prosthetics artist Victoria Bancroft-Perry’s graduation from the London College of Fashion.
